David Cary and Dr. Krautter are developing a medical device to image the heart.
It uses a technique different from (and complementary to) other heart-imaging tools: MRI, CAT, Coronary angiography, etc.

Future versions may be light enough and durable enough to allow normal activity while it records what the heart is doing.

I haven't yet decided whether it would be a good idea to release this as Open Hardware.
